Oh Snap! Unplugged and In Control
So here you are, ready to walk down the aisle and instead of looking down and seeing your best friend waiting for you at the end of the runner, you see this…
Doesn’t do much to enhance the ambiance of the ceremony does it?
So what do you do?
Enter the “Unplugged Wedding”. As a former wedding photographer, I can't tell you how many times I have almost missed a shot because some well-meaning, but oblivious guest, stepped into my range at the last second. The key to having an unplugged ceremony is to make sure your guests know that you appreciate them not taking photos during the ceremony so that they can just enjoy the celebration withe you.
Enlist your officiant and ask them to make an announcement, and use a playful but very clear sign to let your guests know what you prefer.
Take your pick from any of the following fun, festive signage options we’ve located to help you let your guests know you want to see their smiling faces looking back at you, not their phone!
Thank you for coming, but we have one plea
Please keep our ceremony - Camera Free
Though our ceremony is unplugged,
the reception is not,
After our first dance,
take your best shot
As we tie the knot, please be our guest
The photographer is here, and will do the rest
These moments go fast, as you well know,
But rest assured, we’ve hired a pro!
